    Dentist FAQ


    The Argus Team prides ourselves on our accessibility and timely responsiveness to all our provider needs. We recognize and value the importance of the role our affiliated dentists play in delivering exceptional dental benefits in the marketplace, the Argus Provider Relations Team is dedicated to providing support to all affiliates. We respond quickly and effectively to all issues.






    How do I become a Dental Partner with Argus?
    Please contact our Provider Relations team to request an application and agreement. Once Argus receives your signed application and agreement, your information will be processed by our credentialing department. The credentialing process normally takes 60 to 90 days.

    How do I submit claims to Argus?
    Master, Patriot, Liberty and Peach Members- Simply submit a standard ADA claim form to Argus for payment. Payment for services from Argus to our Partnering Dentists will occur within thirty days of receipt of the claim. Please send all claims and encounter data to:

    SmileCard Members– There are no claims for the SmileCard plan. This plan is simply a discount membership at Partnering Dental Provider locations. Members are responsible for payment for services at the time treatment is rendered unless you choose to make other financial arrangements.

    Prestige Members – Simply submit a standard ADA claim form to our administrative partner for payment. Payment for services from our partner will occur within thirty days of receipt of the claim. Please send all claims to:

    What if a patient needs to see a Specialist?
    Please have the member contact our Customer Care Department toll-free at (877) 864-0625. Our Customer Care Department will be able to inform the member which Specialist in their area has agreed to offer a discount. No authorization is required for members to visit an in-network Specialist.

    Are services that are not listed on the plan fee schedule covered?
    Dental services not listed on the fee schedule are available to the member at a 25% discount off of our Network Dentist's normal charges.

    How are members assigned to a dental office?
    Members may choose any partnering dentist at any time by calling our Customer Care Department. Requests made prior to the 20th of the month will be effective on the first of the following month. However, members are not required to be assigned to an office in order to receive treatment from a Partnering Dentist.

    How can I verify a member's eligibility?
    Master, Patriot, Liberty and Peach Members- Argus Partnering Dentists can log on to our website securely and verify eligibility online or call our Customer Care Department toll-free at (877) 864-0625 to speak to a representative.

    SmileCard Members
    – There is no need to verify eligibility for SmileCard discount plan members. They must simply present a valid ID card to your office at the time of service to receive their discounts.

    Prestige Members
    – Simply call our partner's automated fax-back line at (877) 223-4693.
